Tonight, January 18, the Quang Tri Provincial Children's House coordinated with the City Youth Union - Dong Ha City Youth Union and Squadron 202 - Region 2 of the Vietnam Coast Guard to organize the program "Spring Dream" in 2025 with special cultural and artistic activities "Celebrating the Party, Celebrating Spring", Chung cake wrapping contest, combined with social security activities, to contribute to taking care of Tet for children in especially difficult circumstances in Dong Ha City.

At the program, the organizers presented 30 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND, to 30 disadvantaged children in Dong Ha City. These gifts were a timely way to share difficulties, encourage and motivate students to continue to excel in their studies, practice and have more conditions to enjoy the spring and welcome Tet.

Within the framework of the program, a banh chung wrapping competition took place with the participation of officers and soldiers from Squadron 202 and the Union of schools in Dong Ha City including: Nguyen Trai Secondary School; Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School; Tran Hung Dao Secondary School; Nguyen Hue Secondary School; Hieu Giang Secondary School; Nguyen Du Secondary School; Ward 2 Primary and Secondary School; Ward 3 Primary and Secondary School; Ward 4 Primary and Secondary School; Quang Tri College of Education Inter-level High School.

The “Spring Dream” program is an annual activity that kicks off a series of activities throughout the year at the Provincial Children’s House. The program not only helps children in especially difficult circumstances to have more conditions to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet, but also connects and strengthens the relationship between the army and the people, helping children to cultivate more patriotism and love for their homeland’s sea and islands.
