Mr. Park is trusted in Indonesia
Indonesian football is thinking about coach Park Hang-seo while sinking into disappointment after coach Parrick Kluivert shattered the World Cup dream. Bola newspaper even assessed that the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has lost direction since parting ways with coach Shin Tae-yon.
Most recently, football expert Supriyono Prima made a remarkable suggestion, saying that Coach Park Hang-seo is the right "captain" to take Indonesian football to the World Cup level. It should be remembered that Indonesia under Coach Shin Tae-yong has never beaten Mr. Park's Vietnamese teams.
Mr. Supriyono told CNN Indonesia: "I want coach Park Hang-seo. Vietnamese football has put its trust in Mr. Park and his national teams have played their best at all ages. Coach Park Hang-seo understands Southeast Asian football very well. This is very important to restore the working spirit and fighting spirit of the players."

The future of coach Patrick Kluivert is in question as the coach has been missing amid a wave of fierce criticism from fans, experts and media demanding his resignation.
Mr. Supriyono emphasized that Vietnamese football has transformed under coach Park Hang-seo, including the 2018 AFF Cup championship, 2 SEA Games gold medals and a series of other achievements such as the 2019 Asian Cup quarterfinals, 2018 ASIAD semi-finals, and entering the 3rd qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup for the first time...
In addition, Mr. Supriyono also mentioned coach Alex Pastoor, who is currently an assistant to coach Kluivert in the Indonesian national team and has helped 3 clubs Exelsior (2010), Sparta Rotterdam (2016) and Almere City (2023) to be promoted to Eredivisie (Netherlands).

But clearly understanding Southeast Asian football will be a special advantage for coach Park Hang-seo, who is an expert in building strong psychology for players and has a lot of experience in creating discipline and team spirit that is especially suitable for Indonesian football.
At present, Mr. Park is serving as Vice President of the Korea Football Association. In Vietnam, he manages the football academy named after himself and is a special advisor to Bac Ninh FC, which plays in the national first division.
