On October 15, information from Can Tho City Political School said that 40 Digital Ambassador teams of the school have officially deployed to assigned communes and wards in the city to popularize digital skills to the community.
The Digital Ambassador teams have a total of 200 members. Each team consists of 5 members, in which the leadership structure is tightly designed with 1 Team Leader who is the leader of the departments and offices of Can Tho City Political School and 1 Deputy Team Leader who is the Cluster Director of Viettel Group - Can Tho Branch. This combination ensures a deep understanding of expertise, political skills and leading technological capabilities.

The task of the Digital Ambassador teams is to directly deploy digital transformation skills training for cadres, civil servants and public employees in assigned communes and wards.
In particular, in parallel with training, these Digital Ambassador teams are also responsible for building and developing a deep network of Digital Ambassadors right at the grassroots level. This network will gather technology-savvy and enthusiastic individuals to become "extended arms" of the Digital Ambassador teams, thereby gradually popularizing digital skills for the community, guiding people to use digital tools and platforms in their daily lives.
Sharing about the above model, Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Loan, Principal of Can Tho City Political School, emphasized the ambitious vision and goal: "In November 2025, 40 Digital Ambassador groups with 200 core members need to set a goal of building at least 2,000 more digital ambassadors at the commune level. From here, we will continue to plan to replicate this model to each hamlet, area and people in the coming time."
Previously, the Digital Ambassador model was a key activity in the Plan of Can Tho City Political School on implementing the emulation movement to implement "Digital Education for the People". This movement not only aims to improve the digital capacity of the school's staff but also aims to spread the spirit of self-study and self-training in digital skills to the whole community, contributing to the construction of digital government, digital economy and digital society of Can Tho City.
