As VietNamNet reported, on the afternoon of September 30, the Gia Lai Department of Health Inspectorate coordinated with the Provincial Police Department PA03 to inspect the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Clinic at 75 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoa Lu Ward, Pleiku City.

Here, Mr. Vo Minh Chien (28 years old, residing in Chi Cong village, Cu An commune, Dak Po district, Gia Lai province) is examining and treating a patient.

Upon inspection, Mr. Chien could not present a medical practice license or certificate/license. This “fake doctor” said he graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture and had no medical expertise.

Mr. Chien claimed to be a doctor under the guidance of Ms. Le Thi Thanh, the facility manager. All medical examination and treatment fees for customers were transferred to Ms. Thanh's account.
