There are 4 companies qualified to do tax agent business.

According to the Provincial Tax Department, Vinh Long currently has 4 companies that have been granted certificates of eligibility to provide tax procedure services (tax agents) by the tax authority, with 9 employees who have been granted tax procedure service practice certificates by the General Department of Taxation. Accordingly, tax agent employees and those registered to practice tax procedure services will be equipped by the Tax Department with necessary knowledge about tax laws, fees, charges, and tax management to improve the quality of tax procedure services provided by tax agents to taxpayers.

Recently, the Provincial Tax Department organized a training course to update knowledge on tax procedure service practice in 2024 for tax agent staff and tax procedure service registrants. Thereby, updating relevant regulations on land management law and new tax policies issued in 2024; guiding the implementation of creating, submitting documents and reports to tax authorities via the electronic information portal of the General Department of Taxation on the application for tax agents and updating regulations on invoices generated from cash registers; updating legal regulations on environmental resource tax, fees and charges issued in 2023, 2024 and answering questions that tax agents often encounter.

Tax agents are considered a bridge between businesses, taxpayers and tax authorities; they are services that support businesses and taxpayers in complying with tax laws, such as supporting propaganda for businesses to understand and properly implement tax laws, creating the most favorable conditions for taxpayers to properly, fully and promptly fulfill their tax payment obligations to the state budget, minimizing errors and tax risks.
