At “AJC OPEN DAY 2023”, parents and students will have a better understanding of the 61-year tradition of building, developing and growing of the Academy, in order to choose a career that suits their abilities and aspirations; have more information about job opportunities, recruitment processes and conditions of employers.
Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Son, Director of the Academy shared: “The AJC Open Day 2023 admissions and career counseling festival aims to provide, advise, and share useful and practical information so that students can better understand and choose the right major. This is also an opportunity to establish and strengthen cooperative relationships between the Academy and media partners, agencies, and employers, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of training, providing increasingly high-quality human resources for society.”
At the program, students and parents had the opportunity to attend two seminars with useful information for career orientation in general and journalism and communications in particular.

The guests provided detailed information about the training programs and learning environment at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the necessary and sufficient factors to meet the practical career requirements of students after studying at the academy.
In the second discussion with the theme “AJC and the door to the future”, the staff and lecturers of the Academy answered all necessary questions related to specific majors, in order to help students and parents choose the most suitable major for themselves.
Within the framework of the festival, there is also an event space with 3 main areas: Training unit area; business and employer area; club area.
At the training units: 16 Faculties and Institutes belonging to the two blocks of Political Theory and Journalism and Communication advised parents and students about the specific programs of each industry and major currently being trained at the Academy.
In the discussion with the topic "AJC and the door to the future", the staff and lecturers of the Academy answered all necessary questions related to specific fields of study.
The Training Management Board provided guidance and answered questions related to application procedures, tuition fees, and admission criteria; the International Cooperation Board provided specific information about the International Bachelor's Program in Advertising, PR and Branding, licensed by Middlesex University (UK) to the Academy of Journalism and Communication in Vietnam.
At the business and employer area, students and parents were introduced by employers and journalists about jobs and necessary and sufficient conditions to be recruited into agencies and businesses across the country after graduating from the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
At the club area, attendees will be able to visit and experience the academy's learning environment, take photos at prominent locations on campus such as the large hall, lecture halls, dormitories, studios; interact with typical student clubs and teams through the "AJC Tour and Check in AJC" activities.
