8 groups for admission to gifted majors, including V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts), V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts), V02 (Math, English, Fine Arts), H00 (Literature, Fine Arts, Color Composition), H02 (Math, Fine Arts, Color Composition), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), D01 (Math, Literature, English).
For this group, the school removed the D07 combination (Math, Chemistry, English) compared to last year.
The school uses 5 admission methods including:
Method 1: Admission using high school graduation exam results in 2025
Admission to all majors, majors and mass training majors without aptitude test in the admission subject group. Admission score is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission registration group and priority score (if any).
Method 2: Admission combining high school graduation exam results with aptitude test scores in 2025
Applicable to gifted majors/majors with admission combination V00, V01, V02, H00, H02 combined with exam scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam and the gifted exam organized by Hanoi University of Architecture in 2025.
Method 3: Admission using high school academic results (transcripts)
- Consider the transcripts of subjects in the corresponding admission combination in 6 semesters of high school for the following majors and majors: Water supply and drainage engineering; Urban infrastructure engineering; Urban environmental engineering; Mechanical and electrical engineering technology; Traffic construction engineering; Construction project management; Urban underground construction; Civil and industrial construction; Construction materials engineering technology.
- Apply common transcript review for both high school graduates in 2025 and candidates who graduated before 2025.
- The results of the candidates' transcript scores will be entered into the general admission system by Hanoi University of Architecture on the same scale as the high school graduation exam scores.
Method 4: Direct admission and Priority admission
- Direct admission:
- Direct admission is considered in accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training applicable to all groups of majors, fields, and specialties without aptitude tests. For groups of majors, fields, and specialties with aptitude tests, candidates must have an aptitude test score that meets the threshold to ensure input quality.
- Admission priority:
- Candidates who are eligible for direct admission according to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training but do not use the right to direct admission and register for priority admission will have their priority admission points added to the admission subject group.
- Candidates who win first, second, or third prizes in the subjects in the admission combination in the provincial excellent student selection exam (no more than 3 years from the time of admission) will have their priority points added to the admission combination, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
- Candidates with an English certificate according to regulations with an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, who register for admission to the school's Advanced Architecture Program, will be considered for additional priority points for admission to the admission subject group, but not exceeding the maximum score of the scale.
Other methods: Reviewing application documents and conducting direct interviews according to the regulations of the Partner School for international joint programs.
