Opportunity to access and transfer new technologies at Techconnect & Innovation 2024

Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Luu Quang and Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat visited the demonstration area, introducing technology and products at Techconnect & Innovation Vietnam 2023

From September 30 to October 1, 2024, the Vietnam Technology and Innovation Connection 2024 event will take place in Hanoi with the theme "Promoting innovation - Driving force for fast and sustainable socio -economic development."

This is an important event to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Science and Technology (1959-2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (1954-2024). The event is co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Hanoi People's Committee.

Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024 inherits the success of the Techdemo (2011 - 2019) and Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam (2020 - 2024) programs, becoming an annual event for domestic and international organizations and individuals to demonstrate and introduce new and advanced technologies that are applied, transferred, and mastered.

This is also an important forum for exchanging and discussing the completion and effective implementation of new solutions and policies in connecting technology supply and demand, thereby promoting application, innovation, transfer and innovation, and developing the science and technology market.

Following that success, Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024 is organized on a national scale, including many in-depth activities on technology and innovation; focusing on areas that are attracting the attention of society and businesses, with the participation of ministries, branches, localities, large enterprises, research institutes, universities, organizations and individuals at home and abroad.

The event will introduce and demonstrate new domestic and foreign technological achievements applied to production and business in many industries and fields. In particular, discussions will focus on solving difficulties and obstacles and promoting technology transfer and innovation; strengthening the connection between businesses, research organizations and state management agencies; connecting solutions, technology and finance for businesses that need to apply, transfer, develop and master technology.

The event includes main activities: 5 forums connecting technology and innovation (Forum on technology management policy serving socio-economic development, Forum on technology in the construction industry, Forum on technology in the health industry, Forum on technology in the agriculture and rural development industry, Forum on high-tech investment promotion); Seminar on the role of innovation with enterprises in the capital; Demonstration and introduction of technological achievements in 2024, connecting technology supply and demand; Conference on application activities, technology transfer and local innovation in 2024.

State management agencies expect the event to play an important role in promoting economic growth model innovation through the application of science, technology and innovation.

This will contribute to the effective implementation of national policies on industrialization, modernization, digital transformation, science and technology development and innovation, contributing to rapid and sustainable socio-economic development. The event also creates conditions for international investors and partners to seek potential projects for investment and cooperation, especially in the fields of high technology and innovation.

The event is expected to attract 2,500 to 3,000 in-person attendees and 7,000 to 10,000 online attendees, along with 200 technology demonstration booths./.
