In the province, there are currently a total of 4,905 establishments under fire prevention and fighting management, of which 954 establishments are managed by the police (329 establishments are at risk of fire and explosion); 3,951 establishments are under the management of the People's Committees at the commune level. To ensure fire prevention and fighting safety at production and business establishments, in the first 9 months of 2024, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department, the Police of districts and cities have conducted acceptance inspections of 32 works, fire prevention and fighting safety inspections for 959 establishments, 12 projects, works, 13 vehicles transporting goods at risk of fire and explosion; fire prevention and fighting safety inspections serving the work of ensuring security and order at 3 locations, fire prevention and fighting safety inspections in 20 forests, 107 residential areas, and made a total of 1,117 inspection records. Through inspection, the authorities have handled administrative violations against 31 cases of violations in the field of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue with a fine of more than 500 million VND.

According to statistics, from 2023 to September 2024, the whole province had 14 fires, including 2 fires in houses combined with production and business and 1 fire in accommodation facilities. Although the number of fires in factories and enterprises is not much, the level of damage is not significant, but the lessons learned from particularly serious fires across the country in recent times do not allow businesses to be subjective. Along with the roles and responsibilities of functional levels and branches, it is necessary for business owners and production and business establishments to be self-aware and proactive in implementing regulations on ensuring fire safety./.
