Co To: Establishing Party Committee and merging affiliated agencies

On February 5, Co To District Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions to establish the Party Committee of the People's Committee.   Co To district and merged the Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Dung, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee and Comrade Dang Quang Ngan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate the establishment of the District People's Committee Party Committee.

At the conference, Co To District Party Committee announced the decisions on the establishment of the Co To District People's Committee Party Committee and the merger of the Propaganda and Education Committee and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee. According to the decision, the District People's Committee Party Committee is directly under the District Party Executive Committee. The District People's Committee Party Committee has the function of comprehensively leading the implementation of political tasks; organizational and personnel work according to regulations on decentralization of management; Party building work, mass work in the District People's Committee Party Committee.

The Party Committee of the District People's Committee includes party organizations in the Party Committee of the District Government Agencies, the Party Committee of the District Health Center, the Party Cell of Co To High School, the Party Cell of the Treasury, the Party Cell of the Social Policy Bank, the Party Cell of the Forest Protection Department, the Party Cell of the Social Insurance and the Party Cell of the Civil Judgment Enforcement. The Party Committee of the District People's Committee has been operating since February 5.

The District Party Committee appointed the Party Committee of the District People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 12 members, and the Party Committee Standing Committee consisting of 4 members. Comrade Vu Van Hien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, holds the position of Secretary of the District People's Committee Party Committee. Comrade Do Huy Thong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the District People's Committee Party Committee.

At the conference, the decision to merge the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee into the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee was announced, effective from February 5. Comrade Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee, held the position of Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; Comrade Ngo Thi Bich and Comrade Vu Ngoc Hoang held the position of Deputy Heads of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; Comrade Hoang Quoc Huan was assigned to continue to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Co To district. The decisions on personnel work took effect from February 5.
