New York: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's youngest daughter, Vivienne, wore an outfit resembling the protective workwear worn by construction workers to an event.

On April 11th, the actress and her daughter attended the premiere of the musical The Outsiders at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in Manhattan. Jolie co-produced the work, with Vivienne serving as her assistant.

Vivienne chose a dark blue boiler suit and her familiar everyday Converse shoes. The boiler suit first appeared in the Oxford Dictionary in 1928. This loose-fitting, multi-pocketed garment, made from sturdy fabric, was the protective workwear of coal-fired boiler workers or chemical plant workers. Over the decades, the boiler suit became a fashion item, showcased by brands on the runway and remaining a hot trend from 2015 to the present.

Jolie wore a floor-length yellow dress, paired with a light brown cape, and oversized geometric metal earrings. The actress's face was radiant thanks to red lipstick. Mother and daughter posed for photos with director Justin Levine, who was in charge of the music and lyrics for the musical. He also wore a jumpsuit similar to Vivienne's.

Prior to the premiere, Jolie told People that her daughter inspired her to produce the play after the two enjoyed a performance at the La Jolla Playhouse (San Diego) in 2023. Vivienne convinced her mother to meet author S.E. Hinton, 75, who wrote the novel The Outsiders when she was 16.

"She did everything she could to be with the crew as much as possible and learned so much from Justin Levine and the entire creative team," Jolie said. She also praised her daughter for being thoughtful and serious about the stage, and for working so hard.

Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt was born in 2008 in Nice, France. She has a twin brother, Knox Léon, and a biological sister, Shiloh, 17. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also have adopted children: Maddox, 22, Pax Thien, 20, and Zahara, 19. People reports that Vivienne leads a private life, homeschooling her siblings with tutors.

Since her parents' divorce in 2016, she has lived in Los Angeles under the guardianship and custody of Angelina Jolie, as determined by the court, because she is under 18 years old. Brad Pitt still has visitation rights.
