On the afternoon of January 12th, the cast and crew of the film "My Child Tells Me" held a special screening to introduce the film to the media. Director Do Quoc Trung, creative director Tran Thanh Huy, and the cast including Kieu Minh Tuan, Hao Khang, Phuong Thanh, Le Loc, Quoc Khanh, etc., were present to interact with the media.

Speaking at the event, Kieu Minh Tuan said he was very happy to be involved in this role, because the character Thai is someone who is completely devoted to his children.
According to Kieu Minh Tuan, this role isn't exactly easy, but it's not overly difficult either. However, he's determined to see it through to the end.

According to revelations, director Do Quoc Trung initially wanted the character Thai to be thin but muscular, the leaner the better. Therefore, he focused on maximizing muscle development to achieve that physique.
During the preparation process, there were times when he felt exhausted during training, but he told himself that he had to achieve the look of Mr. Thai, that he had to push himself a little harder.
Reportedly, he performed most of the scenes in the film himself to ensure beautiful and realistic visuals in every movement, except for a few situations that were truly too difficult or impossible.

Director Do Quoc Trung said that the story in the film comes from his own personal experiences. To arrive at the final version, the team had to work with many different versions.
He also emphasized that the film doesn't aim to explain why people become depressed, but simply wants viewers to realize that someone is suffering, and the first thing to do is to accept and empathize with them, instead of rushing to explain or "cure" them.
"My Father Tells Me" is the story of a tightrope walker and his son, who is showing signs of depression, on a journey to rediscover a lost connection. Amidst the dazzling yet fragile lights of the circus stage, the father and son gradually open up and heal old wounds. The film both celebrates Vietnamese circus art and reminds us of family values in modern life.
The film had special screenings on January 14th and 15th, before its official release on January 16th.
