Entering the period of innovation, Cao Bang Police always plays a pioneering role in all aspects of work, excellently completing all assigned tasks. The Police force has successfully fought and completely dealt with the illegal organization Duong Van Minh after 34 years of existence; completely eliminated the illegal activities of "Salvation Grace" after 10 years, "Red Cloth Cross" after 27 years. Effectively deployed measures to prevent and combat activities that take advantage of religion, superstition, and anti-science such as "Falun Gong", "Church of God the Mother", "Vietnam Bronze Drum Original Energy"... to maintain security in ethnic and religious areas. Absolutely protected the safety of working delegations of Party and State leaders, major political and social events of the Central and local levels.
From 2020 to present, Cao Bang Police have investigated and discovered over 1,400 criminal cases, prosecuted nearly 3,000 subjects; discovered and handled nearly 1,000 economic cases with more than 1,400 violators; prosecuted 38 corruption cases, recovered damages of over 38.7 billion VND. Handled over 1,600 drug cases, arrested nearly 2,300 subjects, seized about 228 heroin cakes, and uprooted more than 33,500 plants containing drugs. The fight against high-tech crimes has made remarkable progress, breaking up 02 high-tech fraud groups; handling 05 Chinese subjects spreading malware; preventing many online property fraud cases.
The field of state management of security and order has achieved many important achievements, typically the effective control of traffic safety and order, fire prevention and fighting to prevent major fires and serious traffic accidents. Successfully organized the Fire Prevention and Fighting Competition "Inter-family Safety Team" in 2024 at the provincial level and won the Second Prize in Region I. Established 1,462 Security and Order Protection Teams/3,407 members; successfully transformed key communes and towns with complex security and order issues; maintained 38 models of the whole people protecting national security at nearly 1,300 teams and points.
The Provincial Police successfully organized 06 Dialogue Conferences with People and Enterprises, contributing to increasing the administrative reform index (PAR) of the Provincial Police in 2024 by 42 levels compared to 2018. After 02 years of implementing Decision No. 06/QD-TTg, dated January 6, 2022 of the Prime Minister on Approving the Project on developing applications of data on population, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030, Cao Bang province is among the first 03 localities nationwide to successfully connect to the Interconnected Public Service Portal; The Provincial Police ranked 22nd nationwide in terms of progress in issuing chip-embedded citizen identification cards (CCCDs), and 19th in terms of electronic identification. The above results were achieved thanks to the drastic participation of the police force and the effectiveness of the mobile model of "going to every alley, knocking on every door", ensuring the quality and progress of issuing CCCD cards according to regulations.

Promoting the core role and frontline force in natural disaster prevention, control, rescue and relief work, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Provincial Police mobilized over 20,000 officers and soldiers to maintain 10 epidemic control checkpoints, contributing to maintaining the "green zone" , with no F0 cases in the province for nearly the first two years of the pandemic. In 2024, the Provincial Police mobilized thousands of officers and soldiers and vehicles to participate in rescue and relief work, helping people overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi, portraying the beautiful image of the Police soldier. In addition, the Provincial Police also launched a special emulation movement "180 days of participating in the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province"; mobilizing 540 officers and soldiers / 1,800 working days to build 884 houses for poor households in Ha Quang district (old).
Implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Central Public Security Party Committee on innovation and streamlining the organization of the Public Security apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, up to now, Cao Bang Public Security has completed the consolidation of the organization at the provincial and communal levels. At the same time, it has received 4 groups of tasks from departments and branches since March 1, 2025. After implementing the new organization in the direction of "comprehensive province; strong communes, close to the grassroots", the security and order situation in the province has basically stabilized; crimes and violations of the law on social order and safety have been controlled and reduced compared to the same period in 2024.

Strengthening the detection and combating of corruption, economic, drug, environmental, high-tech crimes, handling of denunciations, crime reports, and recommendations for prosecution; (3) Continuing to effectively implement Project 06 of the Government. Improving the quality and effectiveness of state management of social order. Strengthening patrolling, control, and handling of violations of social order and safety, ensuring urban order; (4) Promoting the movement of All people protecting national security. Tightening discipline, order, and compliance with the People's Public Security Ordinance; educating officers and soldiers to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the People, constantly studying to improve political awareness, working capacity, and professional qualifications; Study and cultivate according to the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security, strive to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern Cao Bang Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
