Nghe An police mobilized to support coastal localities in preventing and fighting storm No. 5

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 5, on the afternoon of August 24, Nghe An Provincial Police organized a dispatch ceremony, deploying hundreds of officers and soldiers from various units to support coastal localities, in order to proactively respond to natural disasters.

According to forecasts, storm No. 5 is moving very fast, continuously increasing in intensity and will make landfall directly in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri . This is a storm that is assessed to have a very high level of natural disaster risk and has all types of natural disasters.

Faced with that situation, the Provincial Police leaders issued a Decision to increase support forces for localities, including wards and communes: Cua Lo, Quynh Mai, Tan Mai, Trung Loc, Hai Loc, An Chau, Dien Chau, Hai Chau, Quynh Phu and Quynh Anh to proactively respond to the complicated developments of the storm.

The officers and soldiers will focus on tasks such as: Supporting people in moving their property, bracing houses, pruning trees, responding to storms and overcoming the consequences after storms.
