Inauguration of a people's bridge in the mountainous commune of Mau Due

On the afternoon of October 11, Mau Due Commune People's Committee coordinated with sponsors to inaugurate the people's bridge project in Tham Tieng village.

People of Tham Tieng village are excited to walk on the new bridge.

Tham Tieng village has more than 40 households, over 120 people. Previously, people did not have a solid bridge, traveling was very difficult, during the rainy season the stream water rose high, causing danger, especially for children and the elderly. Faced with that reality, the Vietnam Children's Support Fund and the "Feeding Children" Project mobilized philanthropists to sponsor 420 million VND to implement the project.

After 4 months of construction, the 22 meter long, 2 meter wide bridge for the people of Tham Tieng village was completed to the joy of the people. The project helps people travel safely, more than 50 students in the village go to school more conveniently. In addition, people can transport agricultural products conveniently, connecting the village with neighboring areas, aiming to promote economic development in the future.
