Dong Hoi Ward Police: Timely support for lost elderly people

On July 18, Chief of Dong Hoi Ward Police, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huu Phong, said that the unit had just received a letter from a resident thanking the ward police force for helping a family find a lost relative.

Accordingly, on the evening of July 16, Dong Hoi Ward Police received a report from local residents about an elderly man who appeared to be lost and disoriented at the gate of Dong Hoi Market. After verification, the Ward Police promptly contacted the family and handed the man over to them in stable health condition.

The lost man was Mr. Ho Trong M. (born in 1964, residing in Dong Hoi ward). At the time of discovery, Mr. M. did not have any identification documents or contact phone with him.

Upon receiving the information, the Ward Police Command quickly directed the working group to verify, approach the scene and deploy professional measures to support the people according to the procedure. Ward Police Officer Tran Ngoc Hoang Phong directly reassured Mr. M. and took him to the agency headquarters to ensure safety.

After the family received their loved one, they sent a thank you letter to the Dong Hoi Ward Police, especially the police officer Tran Ngoc Hoang Phong.
