Can Tho City Police launched a pickleball club with 3 competition courts.

On January 18, Can Tho City Police held a ceremony to launch the pickleball club and inaugurate the stadium. This is one of the city police's activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) and continue to effectively implement the movement for the whole population to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, Can Tho City Police also officially put into operation 3 spacious pickleball courts. Immediately after the launching ceremony, Can Tho City Police Pickleball Club organized a friendly competition between leaders, representatives of districts, departments, branches, etc. The competition atmosphere was exciting and joyful in the spirit of exchange, learning, and connection to strengthen solidarity between units.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Phuc, Head of the Internal Political Security Department of Can Tho City Police , and Chairman of the Pickleball Club, said that the Club will have specific assignments, programs, and training plans to select potential athletes to compete in the general police sports events.

In addition, the Can Tho City Police Pickleball Club will also strengthen the organization and competition with other units, in order to more effectively promote the movement of physical exercise, sports , health training as well as effectively carry out the campaign for the whole population to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho.
