Krong Pac Commune Police have just coordinated with the provincial police departments to quickly verify and track down the woman riding the electric bicycle who caused the accident and then left the scene.

The incident occurred in the early morning of August 17, on the road through village 4, Krong Pac commune, Dak Lak province. When Ms. Q. (45 years old, living in village 1, Krong Pac commune), who sells lottery tickets, was walking on the road, she was hit by a woman riding an electric bicycle in the same direction, resulting in severe multiple injuries.

After causing the accident, the woman riding the electric bike left the victim at the scene and took her vehicle away. Later, Ms. Q. was discovered by local residents and taken to the emergency room.

Immediately after receiving the report, Krong Pac Commune Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency, the Criminal Techniques Department, and the Provincial Police to quickly examine the scene and begin the investigation. Using professional measures, after only 3 hours, the police force found the woman who caused the accident, Ms. L. (70 years old, living in the same commune).

At the police station, Ms. L. confessed that she worked as a scrap collector. In the early morning of August 17, because it was dark and a car was going in the opposite direction with its headlights shining brightly, she could not see the woman walking in the same direction and hit her. Because she was so scared and thought no one would notice, Ms. L. left the victim behind and took her electric bike away from the scene.

Currently, Ms. Q. is being treated at the Central Highlands General Hospital and is out of danger. The provincial police are continuing to consolidate the case file to handle the case according to the law.
