(VLO) According to the announcement of the Ministry of Transport, nationwide there are 298 ports belonging to Vietnamese seaports, of which Vinh Long province has 3 ports, including: Vinh Long port, Binh Minh port, and Chau Thoi 620 port.

The Ministry of Transport requests the Vietnam Maritime Administration to be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of management and exploitation of ports in Vietnamese seaports according to the provisions of law. Annually, update and submit to the Ministry of Transport for publication the list of ports in Vietnamese seaports according to regulations.

The Department of Transport Infrastructure shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to synthesize and advise the ministry's leaders in organizing the management, exploitation and publication of the list of ports belonging to Vietnamese seaports according to regulations.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the Department of Transport to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to implement and advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement the decision of the Ministry of Transport on announcing the list of ports belonging to Vietnamese seaports in accordance with regulations.
