Announcement of operation of DMT-Marina inland waterway terminal for passenger transport on Han River

Son Tra District People's Committee announced that it has just issued a decision to establish the DMT-Marina inland waterway terminal at the location from Km5+020 - Km5+120 on the right bank of the Han River in An Hai Nam ward.

DMT-Marina inland waterway port is a passenger port (type III), the port house has a scale of 272.85m², the wharf is 391.4m² wide, the landscape floor is 283.1m² wide, the water area of ​​the port is 618.2m² wide. The structure of DMT-Marina inland waterway port has an arc-shaped wharf, using prestressed concrete sheet pile walls surrounding it. The wharf has 6 stairs to pick up and drop off passengers.

The auxiliary works at the wharf include the wharf house, ticket counter, and passenger service facilities. The DMT-Marina inland waterway wharf is allowed to receive vehicles with a draft of no more than 1.1m and a capacity of up to 30 passengers. The operating period is from June 26, 2025 to June 30, 2030. To ensure security, order, and safety of waterway traffic, the People's Committee of Son Tra District requires the owner of the DMT-Marina inland waterway wharf to fully perform its responsibilities and comply with the control process of tourist transportation activities at ports and inland waterway wharfs in the area.
