Announcing the Politburo's decision to approve the Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee

- On the morning of December 7, Lang Son Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision to approve the position of Provincial Party Secretary for comrade Hoang Van Nghiem.

Attending the conference were comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Party Central Committee member, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission; comrade Nguyen Quoc Doan, Party Central Committee member, Judge of the Supreme People's Court, Former Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

On the side of Lang Son province, there were comrades: Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Doan Thi Hau, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee; leaders of departments, agencies and branches of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work at the conference.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced Decision No. 1725-QDNS/TW, dated December 4, 2024 of the Politburo approving comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's decision to Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Decision and congratulated comrade Hoang Van Nghiem on his new responsibility.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested comrades in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors in the whole Lang Son province to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, focus on leadership and direction to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, and continue to further develop the locality in the coming time.

Regarding the immediate tasks, he suggested that Lang Son province should focus on implementing the planning of the Northern midland and mountainous region; the plan to implement the Lang Son Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Mobilize, integrate and effectively use investment resources to develop the socio-economic infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure; synchronously implement solutions to create a favorable environment and conditions to attract investment; focus on rapidly developing the border gate economy to promote growth and shift the overall economic structure of the province.

Continue to pay attention to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the entire Party, building a clean and strong political system associated with streamlining the apparatus, reducing staff, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations; synchronously and comprehensively developing culture and society, improving the quality of people's lives; preserving and promoting good cultural values associated with arousing the tradition of solidarity, self-reliance and aspiration of people of all ethnic groups; promoting digital transformation, innovation, strengthening resource management, environmental protection; consolidating national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety, firmly protecting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity; improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs, proactively and actively integrating internationally.

Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, respectfully thanked the Politburo and the Central Secretariat for their attention and trust in assigning the task. He fully accepted the guidance of the Head of the Central Organization Committee to incorporate it into the program and plan for leading the Party building work and socio-economic development of the locality.

The Provincial Party Secretary promised to continuously study, practice, preserve qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; learn and absorb the experiences of previous generations of leaders; accumulate knowledge, capacity, and experience, and devote all his strength and intelligence to the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity and unity, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
