Announcement of decision, launch of Red Cross volunteer clubs/teams

On October 3, in Ha Long ward, the Provincial Red Cross Association (RC) held a conference to announce the decision and launch affiliated volunteer clubs and teams as the core for humanitarian activities in the province.

The Provincial Red Cross Society leaders presented the decision to the clubs and volunteer teams under the Provincial Red Cross Society.

In recent years, the Red Cross Association at all levels in the province has organized many practical activities in various social and humanitarian aspects, participated in disaster and natural disaster prevention and response activities, provided health care for the people, provided community-based first aid, mobilized voluntary blood donation, tissue and organ donation, searched for information on relatives lost due to war, natural disasters and catastrophes; promoted humanitarian values and participated in monitoring and social criticism of issues related to humanitarian activities.

The Red Cross at all levels has promoted the spirit of initiative in planning and organizing activities; actively responded to and participated in common activities launched by the Provincial Red Cross Association. Clubs and volunteer teams have become "extended arms" in humanitarian and charitable activities; preventing and responding to natural disasters. At the same time, joining hands, being unanimous and determined to deepen and spread more strongly love, sharing and compassion to the community and society.

The clubs and volunteer teams under the Provincial Red Cross Society will improve the effectiveness of humanitarian and charitable activities in the province.

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded the Decision to recognize 10 clubs and volunteer teams under the Provincial Red Cross Association. Within the framework of the conference, a launching ceremony took place to join hands in mobilizing support and assistance for people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods (storm No. 10) and deploy a plan to support health insurance cards for disadvantaged students in the 2025-2026 school year, so that they have more conditions for health care and peace of mind to study.
