Announcing the decision to establish Phat Diem Commune Trade Union

Delegates presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Phat Diem Commune Trade Union.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Hai Long, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Le Van Kien, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary of Phat Diem commune. Also attending were representatives of grassroots trade union organizations of the communes: Kim Son, Quang Thien, Lai Thanh, Binh Minh and Phat Diem.

According to the decision, Phat Diem Commune Trade Union was established from September 5, 2025, under the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation. This is the merger of 29 grassroots trade unions with a total of 5,924 union members operating in the communes of Kim Son, Quang Thien, Lai Thanh, Binh Minh and Phat Diem.

At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Phat Diem Commune Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term. Accordingly, the Executive Committee consists of 8 comrades, the Standing Committee consists of 2 comrades. Comrade Tran Thi Minh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union (before the merger and acquisition of the province) was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Phat Diem Commune Trade Union.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Hai Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized: The establishment of Phat Diem Commune Trade Union is an important milestone, marking a new development step of the trade union organization in the grassroots political system. He requested that Phat Diem Commune Trade Union, with its wide area of operation, should soon stabilize the organization, build working regulations, assign specific tasks; focus on performing well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers; promote propaganda, education, and launch patriotic emulation movements, contributing to the successful implementation of local political tasks.

Phat Diem Commune Trade Union is determined to continue to unite, uphold responsibility, and promote collective intelligence to successfully complete its tasks. In the last months of 2025, the unit will focus on stabilizing the organization and preparing to successfully organize the Commune Trade Union Congress according to the plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
