Announcing the decision to establish the Lam Dong Provincial Police Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term

On the afternoon of July 21, the Organizing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee coordinated with the Provincial Police Party Committee to solemnly organize a ceremony to announce and present the decisions of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Police Party Committee on the establishment of the Provincial Police Party Committee, appointing the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary, the Deputy Secretary, the Inspection Committee and the affiliated grassroots party organizations for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Ho Van Muoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee; Major General Truong Minh Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and deputy directors of the Provincial Police Department.

According to Decision No. 11 dated July 3, 2025 of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Police Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the three Provincial Police Party Committees of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong. The new Party Committee under the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee consists of 30 affiliated Party organizations. The Provincial Police Party Committee is responsible for comprehensively leading activities to ensure national security, maintain social order and safety, and at the same time perform functions and tasks according to regulations of the Party and the police sector.

Along with the establishment of the Provincial Police Party Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Decision No. 71 and 72 dated July 15, 2025, appointing the Provincial Police Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 27 comrades, with Major General Truong Minh Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police as Secretary; Colonel Tran Van Muoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary. The Provincial Police Party Committee Standing Committee consists of 9 comrades, ensuring comprehensive and unified leadership.

Immediately after the Provincial Party Committee meeting, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Party Committee announced decisions on the establishment of 30 grassroots party organizations, including 27 grassroots party committees and 3 grassroots party cells. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary for the grassroots party organizations.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ho Van Muoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the achievements of the provincial police force in recent times, especially in implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on building a clean and strong police force to meet the requirements of protecting security and order.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: "The establishment of the Provincial Police Party Committee is an important milestone demonstrating the Party's absolute leadership role over the People's Police force. Therefore, the Provincial Police Party Committee needs to quickly complete the organization, build appropriate working regulations, promote political and ideological education, and improve the political capacity of officers and soldiers. In particular, it is necessary to carefully prepare for the 1st Provincial Police Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and ensure security and safety for events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd".

Lieutenant Colonel Do Minh Duc - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Public Security Staff Department, representing the Party grassroots organizations, spoke at the conference.

Major General Truong Minh Duong affirmed: The entire Lam Dong Provincial Police force promises to absolutely comply with and seriously carry out the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and People; continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, overcome all difficulties and challenges, strive to excellently complete the task of protecting political security, maintaining social order and safety, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province. Thereby, assigning tasks to grassroots party organizations under the Provincial Police Party Committee to promote the role of core leadership, proactively and decisively in direction and operation; regularly grasp the ideological situation of cadres and party members; promptly orient, motivate, overcome difficulties, create unity of will and action in the entire force, successfully complete all assigned tasks.
