Announcing the decision to establish the Tam Son Town Party Committee and the Hai Luu Commune Party Committee

On December 27, Song Lo district held a ceremony to announce the decision on personnel work according to Resolution No. 1287 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Vinh Phuc province, period 2023 - 2025 and the decision to establish the Tam Son town Party Committee and Hai Luu commune Party Committee.

Attending and directing the conference were comrades: Bui Huy Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Luong Duc Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Bui Thi Thu Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Phung Thi Kim Nga, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The leaders of Song Lo district include: Phung Quang Dung, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary; Le Dang Tam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Chung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Huy Vinh presented the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of new administrative units of Song Lo district.

According to the project, Song Lo district will reorganize and merge 5 communes and towns into 1 commune and 1 town. Specifically, the locality will merge Nhao Son and Nhu Thuy communes into Tam Son town; and Bach Luu commune into Hai Luu commune.

After the merger, the new Tam Son town has a natural area of ​​12.4 square kilometers, reaching 88.57% of the standard, and a population of 13,613 people, reaching 170.16% of the standard. The Tam Son town Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Nhao Son commune Party Committee and the Nhu Thuy commune Party Committee into the Tam Son town Party Committee, under the Song Lo district Party Committee. The Tam Son town Party Committee after the merger has 29 party cells with more than 815 party members.

The new Hai Luu commune has a natural area of ​​16.5 km2, reaching 78.57% of the standard and a population of 11,303 people, reaching 141% of the standard. The Hai Luu commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Bach Luu commune Party Committee into the Hai Luu commune Party Committee, under the Song Lo district Party Committee. After the merger, the Hai Luu commune Party Committee has 26 party cells and 566 party members.

After the reorganization, Song Lo district reduced 3 commune-level administrative units, leaving 14 units including 13 communes and 1 town.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Huy Vinh presented flowers to congratulate the Party Committee and people of the new Tam Son town and the new Hai Luu commune.

Regarding personnel work, Song Lo district has arranged, mobilized, and rotated redundant cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers to work at agencies, organizations, and units in the political system according to task requirements or enjoy regimes and policies for retirees, those who quit their jobs, or those who are downsized according to Government regulations and Resolution No. 10 of the Provincial People's Council stipulating support policies for commune-level cadres, civil servants, workers, and non-professional workers at the commune level who are redundant due to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025 in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Song Lo District Party Secretary Phung Quang Dung congratulated the cadres, party members and people of Tam Son town and Hai Luu commune and emphasized: The merger of administrative units will face many initial difficulties. However, with the tradition of solidarity and high determination, he believes that the cadres and people of the localities will soon overcome all challenges, building Tam Son town and Hai Luu commune to develop more and more.

At the same time, take care of and ensure social security, stabilize people's lives in the area; focus on successfully directing the Congress of affiliated Party Cells, well prepare conditions for organizing the Party Congress of Tam Son town and Hai Luu commune, term 2025-2030.
