Announcing the Decision to establish and appoint the Leaders of Lang Son College

- On the morning of September 23, at the Hall of Campus 2, Lang Son College, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Decision to establish and appoint leaders of Lang Son College.

Attending the conference were comrade Duong. Xuan Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Chairperson Standing Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, Provincial Party Committee member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of relevant departments, branches, agencies, and units; together with school staff, lecturers, and civil servants.

The Provincial People's Committee leaders presented the Decision on establishment and appointment to the school's Board of Directors.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 2417 dated August 27, 2025 of the Minister of Education and Training on merging Lang Son Vocational College, Lang Son Medical College into Lang Son Pedagogical College and changing the name to Lang Son College, under the Provincial People's Committee. At the same time, announced the Decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work, appointment of leaders of Lang Son College. Comrade Phung Quy Son, Principal of Lang Son Pedagogical College, was appointed to the position of Vice Principal in charge of Lang Son College.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Emphasized: The establishment of Lang Son College not only has organizational significance but is also a strategic step in the roadmap for fundamental innovation of the vocational education system, demonstrating the province's determination in arranging public service units in the direction of streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency.

He requested the Board of Directors and all staff and lecturers of the school to soon stabilize the organizational structure, build operating regulations suitable for the new model; promote the strengths of the predecessor schools, determine a multi-disciplinary and multi-field development strategy associated with digital transformation and green transformation; ensure the rights of learners and lecturers in the transition process, and at the same time innovate the content and training programs in a modern, practical and highly applicable direction. Along with that, it is necessary to expand cooperation with businesses and training institutions at home and abroad, mobilize social resources to improve quality, and strive to soon become a high-quality college in the region.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the school's Board of Directors.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Phung Quy Son, Vice Principal in charge, expressed his determination to unite with the staff and lecturers and make efforts to build Lang Son College into a multi-disciplinary, high-quality training institution, serving the socio-economic development of the province.
