After My Huong ward and Tan Tai ward merged into Kinh Dinh ward, Phan Rang-Thap Cham city has 13 commune-level administrative units including 12 wards and 1 commune.

On the afternoon of November 1, the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city ( Ninh Thuan province) held a ceremony to announce Resolution No. 1198/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated September 28, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of Ninh Thuan province, belonging to the city's wards.

According to Resolution No. 1198/NQ-UBTVQH of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Phan Rang-Thap Cham city merged the entire natural area of ​​0.45km2, population of 5,200 people of My Huong ward and the entire natural area of ​​​​2.64km2, population of 11,356 people of Tan Tai ward into Kinh Dinh ward.

After the merger, Kinh Dinh ward has a natural area of ​​3.50km2 and a population of 24,656 people.

At the same time, the entire natural area of ​​1.1 km2 and population of 10,660 people of Thanh Son ward will be merged into Phu Ha ward.

After the merger, Phu Ha ward has a natural area of ​​2.4km2 and a population of 23,957 people.

Thus, after the arrangement, Phan Rang-Thap Cham city has 13 commune-level administrative units including 12 wards and 1 commune.

Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Le Huyen said that the arrangement of administrative units is a difficult and complicated task, greatly affecting the organization and operation of agencies, the staff, civil servants, employees, workers and the ideology and psychology of the people of each locality.

In that context, Phan Rang-Thap Cham city mobilized the entire system , with a spirit of urgency, seriousness, high responsibility, carried out methodically, scientifically, and firmly step by step according to the order, procedures, and instructions of the Central and the province, and ensuring quality and progress according to the set plan.

Mr. Le Huyen stated that the process of operating the newly merged apparatus has many advantages, but also many difficulties, so in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee requests that Party committees at all levels, authorities, Fatherland Front, and organizations of Phan Rang-Thap Cham city continue to unite, make greater efforts and determination, focus on promoting information and propaganda work so that cadres, party members and people understand clearly and have high consensus, thereby carrying out tasks with the highest results.

The Vice Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee also requested the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City People's Committee to pay attention to cases of redundancy when implementing the arrangement of administrative units to have a solution, support them in a reasonable and appropriate manner, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality; have measures to mobilize resources, increase investment in the headquarters of administrative units after the arrangement; create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals when changing seals and documents in conducting transactions with state agencies, especially in handling administrative procedures, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of people and businesses./.
