Announcing the first model new rural commune of Hau Loc district

On the morning of April 14, Hoa Loc commune held a ceremony to announce the decision to recognize the commune as meeting the model new rural standards. This is the first commune in Hau Loc district to meet the model new rural standards.

Delegates attended the ceremony to announce the decision that Hoa Loc commune has achieved model new-style rural standards.

Over the past 3 years, since Hoa Loc commune was recognized as an advanced NTM commune, with the efforts, determination and unanimous support of all classes of people, Hoa Loc commune has focused on leading and directing the construction and completion of model NTM criteria.

In 3 years (2021-2023), the total budget for implementing the model new rural construction of Hoa Loc commune is 329,437 billion VND. People's awareness of building new rural areas in the process of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas has been raised.

Up to now, the commune has had many changes in the socio -economic situation. In 2023, the average income per capita reached 71.12 million VND/person/year and there were no more poor households. Education, health care, and culture have developed a lot. Environmental protection work has changed significantly, the rural landscape is bright - green - clean - beautiful, safe. National defense - security, social order and safety are always ensured.

With the determination and efforts of the Party Committee, government and people, Hoa Loc commune is one of the first three communes of Hau Loc district to achieve advanced NTM standards; up to now, it continues to be the first commune of the district to be recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as a model NTM commune.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Hau Loc district announced the Decision to recognize Hoa Loc commune as meeting the model new-style rural standards with a bonus of 1 billion VND; at the same time, announced the decision to reward Hoa Loc commune by the Chairman of Hau Loc district People's Committee with a bonus of 500 million VND.

On this occasion, Hoa Loc children working, living and studying in and outside the province gave many meaningful gifts, contributing to the construction and development of Hoa Loc homeland.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Developing agriculture and rural areas and improving the material and spiritual life of farmers is a major policy of our Party and State, a strategic task, contributing significantly to maintaining political stability, developing the socio-economy and eliminating hunger and reducing poverty for the people.

After more than 13 years of implementing the new rural construction program, up to now, the whole province has had 13 district-level units meeting the standards and completing the task of building new rural areas, 363 communes and 717 mountainous villages and hamlets meeting new rural standards, 97 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 23 communes and 480 villages and hamlets meeting model new rural standards; there are 479 OCOP products. In that achievement, there is a significant contribution from the Party Committee, government and people of Hau Loc district in general and Hoa Loc commune in particular.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi requested the Party Committee, government and people of Hoa Loc commune to continue to urgently implement programs, plans, mechanisms and policies to concretize and put Resolution No. 58 of the Politburo; Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and Resolution of the 27th Hau Loc District Party Congress into life. In particular, it is necessary to identify agricultural development and new rural construction as the central and continuous task, following the motto "New rural construction has only a starting point, no ending point".

Pay attention to doing a good job of propaganda so that cadres, party members and people in the area understand correctly and fully the meaning of the new rural construction program.

Effectively exploit invested projects, link new rural construction with the urbanization process and promote the mobilization of investment resources to develop essential economic and social infrastructure, creating clearer changes in the group of economic - cultural - social - environmental criteria.

Focus on removing difficulties, promoting production, business, creating jobs to increase income and improve people's lives, towards building a sustainable and smart new rural area. Promote calling for and attracting reputable, capable and branded investors to develop socio-economic infrastructure and urban infrastructure in a synchronous and modern direction.

On this occasion, Hoa Loc commune commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building model new rural areas and launched an emulation movement to strive to build model new rural areas.
