In the 2015-2022 term, the Trade Union of Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Dofico) always accompanies employees and enterprises in their activities, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise.

Every year, in addition to performing well the role of representing, protecting, and taking care of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees, the Corporation's Trade Union promotes emulation movements, mobilizing union members and employees to actively promote initiatives and improvements, contributing to the good implementation of Dofico's production and business goals and tasks.
* Create motivation for workers to compete in production
Dofico Union is managing 16 grassroots unions (CĐCS) with 41 departmental unions and 160 union groups. The total number of union members is currently 3,085/3,163 official employees, reaching a rate of over 97%. The team of workers and employees are trained and practiced through production and business practices, dedicated to their work, have a sense of striving to learn, always believe in and contribute to the development of the unit.
Deputy General Director, Chairman of Dofico Trade Union Tran Dang Ninh said that in the past term, the Trade Union always closely followed the goals and tasks of the unit, striving to complete the tasks assigned by superiors and the main targets of the term. The most prominent of which is the effective implementation of movements among union members and employees such as: Competition for good workers, creative workers; vocational training, competition for good workers with the goals of productivity, quality, efficiency... Accordingly, 151 initiatives and technical improvements of union members and employees were recognized by the Scientific Council of the Corporation, saving over 22 billion VND.
On May 22 and 23, the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation Trade Union held its 2nd Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. The Congress focused on evaluating the performance of the past term and setting out key directions and tasks for breakthroughs in the next 5 years. |
In recognition of the contributions of employees, the corporation honored 143 outstanding Dofico employees of the month and 8 individuals who were awarded the title of Outstanding Dofico Employees of the year. At the flag-raising ceremonies at the beginning of the week, the corporation's leaders awarded commendation decisions and presented gifts, symbolizing individuals with outstanding achievements in performing assigned tasks.
Along with launching emulation movements in production labor, the Union organizes cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports to improve the spiritual life of union members and employees in the corporation.
Every year, the Party Committee, leaders of units and Executive Boards of Trade Unions at all levels in the corporation mobilize union members and employees to voluntarily study to improve their education and skills; at the same time, create conditions for employees to participate in training courses, professional development, and political theory to fulfill assigned tasks.
During the past term, the Trade Union introduced 297 outstanding union members to Party committees at all levels for consideration, of which 264 union members were admitted into the Party by higher-level Party committees.
* Ensure employment and life of workers
Mr. Tran Dang Ninh said that the Executive Board of the Corporation's Trade Union and its affiliated Trade Unions always proactively coordinate with the Corporation's leaders to fully implement the regimes and policies for employees. Along with that, promptly monitor and grasp the concerns of workers; actively participate in inspecting and supervising the implementation of policies and regimes on wages and bonuses of employees. Thereby, contributing to stabilizing labor relations, developing production and business, maintaining political security and labor safety and order at the unit.
The General Corporation's Trade Unions at all levels closely coordinate with the professional units to effectively implement the grassroots democracy regulations. Accordingly, 100% of affiliated units organize annual labor conferences; 100% of grassroots trade unions sign collective labor agreements between employers and labor representatives. Every year, affiliated grassroots trade unions review and add to the agreements contents that are beneficial to laborers such as: support for gasoline money, mid-shift meal money, etc. In addition, regulations on labor health care at the unit are implemented.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Trade Union at all levels coordinated with the unit's leaders to organize cultural activities, lucky draws and give gifts to union members and employees in difficult circumstances with an average value of 300,000 VND/gift; organize visits, support and share with employees in difficult circumstances and those who are sick. In particular, during the recent outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the General Corporation's Trade Union and its affiliated Trade Unions implemented many policies to support employees to overcome difficulties. Hundreds of employees affected in their jobs, income and implementation of "3 on-site" were promptly cared for and taken care of.
The activities of praising and rewarding children of cadres, union members and employees who have achieved good academic results and good living are focused on by the Trade Union. During the past term, 872 children were commended with a total amount of over 675 million VND. The Women's Union of the Corporation and the Trade Unions pay special attention to the children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, International Children's Day and take care of female workers such as: visiting, giving gifts, meetings, talking about topics, cooking competitions, flower arranging competitions, returning to the source... These practical activities have helped employees feel more secure in their work and attached to the Corporation.
Along with activities to care for union members and employees, the Corporation's Trade Union mobilizes union members to contribute to community funds and social charities. From 2015-2022, with the support of the government, the Corporation's Trade Union has contributed to funds such as: Gratitude, Trade Union Shelter, Provincial Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund, Fund for the Poor, building charity houses...
In addition, during Tet, the Union coordinated with organizations in the corporation to visit and give gifts to officials, employees, families with meritorious services, and poor households. In particular, the corporation accompanied and supported epidemic prevention equipment, donated funds to buy vaccines, sold goods to stabilize prices, and gave gifts to people during the time Dong Nai implemented solutions to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in 2020 and 2021.
In the 2023-2028 term, the Dofico Corporation Trade Union sets the goal of continuing to innovate Trade Union activities to meet new requirements and tasks. Along with that, widely organize emulation movements in production and labor; actively improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of union members and employees. Focus on improving professional skills, creating conditions for employees to study and improve their qualifications, contributing to building a team of cadres, workers and employees as the leading force in the development of the enterprise.
