Science and Technology Trade Union honors 25 typical advanced collectives and 167 individuals in the period 2020

On the morning of September 23, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union held a conference to commend advanced models in the 2020 - 2025 period.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union Pham Quang Huong said that the Conference honored 25 collectives and 167 outstanding individuals in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025. These are the core nuclei, representing the spirit of responsibility, the desire to contribute, and the "beautiful flowers" in the emulation flower garden of the Science and Technology sector.

Over the past 5 years, emulation movements have been deployed extensively, comprehensively and effectively, typically: "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Good at public work, good at home work", "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation", "Digital education for all". Since then, thousands of initiatives, topics and scientific works of scientific and practical value have been formed, making an important contribution to socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security and enhancing the national position. In addition, trade unions at all levels have focused on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members; paying attention to female cadres, young union members and workers in remote areas, thereby strengthening the bond between union members and trade union organizations.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong praised the outstanding results of the Industry Union in the past 5 years, and emphasized that the patriotic emulation movement has become an important driving force to promote scientific research, innovation and digital transformation.

To continue promoting achievements, the Deputy Minister suggested that the Industry Union focus on innovating the content and methods of organizing emulation movements, closely linking them with the political tasks and key programs of the industry; replicating advanced models to create a spreading effect; encouraging workers to promote initiatives and improve techniques; at the same time, innovating the reward work towards publicity, transparency and paying special attention to the direct labor force.

The conference determined the direction for the 2025 - 2030 period as continuing to promote the movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation", applying digital technology in management, emulation assessment and rewards; promoting the intelligence and creativity of cadres and union members; linking emulation with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; at the same time taking better care of the lives and legitimate rights of workers.

At the end of the Conference, the leaders of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union affirmed that the success of the Conference is a source of encouragement for the whole industry to continue to unite, innovate, be creative, and determined to overcome difficulties, successfully implementing the goals for the period 2025 - 2030. The collectives and individuals honored this time are a source of inspiration for the emulation movement in the whole industry to continue to spread strongly, contributing to building a modern, integrated science and technology industry, effectively serving the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization".
