In Thai Nguyen, the second-level dedicated data transmission network (from province to commune) lost connection due to power outage at 32/92 points, the public network has been restored. Communication in Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes, Hanoi city has been restored and operating normally.
Floods after storm No. 11 caused 550,805 customers to lose power in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh , Cao Bang, and Lang Son, an increase of 890 customers compared to the morning of October 12. Of these, the power system has been restored to 502,636 customers, an increase of 28,863 customers compared to the morning of October 12. Currently, there are 48,169 customers without power, a decrease of 27,973 customers compared to the morning of October 12.
Along with that, the number of flooded houses is about 10,961 (Bac Ninh 8,800 houses, Hanoi 2,161 houses...), an increase of 3,314 houses compared to the morning of October 12.
Regarding the dike issue, there are still 59 incidents in the provinces and cities of Thai Nguyen , Bac Ninh, and Hanoi. Localities have handled the first hour of the incidents and are closely monitoring them.
The floods have caused an estimated loss of over VND8,720 billion (Lang Son VND1,050 billion, Cao Bang VND2,000 billion, Thai Nguyen VND4,000 billion, Bac Ninh VND1,670 billion), an increase of VND1,670 billion compared to the morning of October 12. Currently, localities are continuing to review and summarize the recovery work.
Also on October 12, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2241/QD-TTg to continue supporting 400 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 11 for the provinces of Thai Nguyen 250 billion VND, Cao Bang 50 billion VND, Lang Son 50 billion VND, and Bac Ninh 50 billion VND.
