During the past term, the Health Sector Trade Union has promoted the spirit of solidarity, made efforts to achieve and exceed the targets and plans set out in the resolution. The sector's trade union has actively innovated the content and methods of operation to effectively carry out the work of representing, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, and taking care of the interests of union members and workers. The work of consolidating and building a strong and developed trade union organization has been given attention and promoted. During the past term, the whole sector has developed 633 new union members, exceeding the target by 43%. Every year, 90% of grassroots trade unions (CTUs) are strong.
The Executive Committee of the Health Sector Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term was introduced at the congress.
In the new term, the Health Sector Trade Union will continue to innovate its content and methods of operation, build a strong organization; perform well its tasks of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees; participate in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in agencies, units, and enterprises. In particular, coordinate with the government to implement two breakthroughs: Implement the digital transformation plan of the health sector by 2025 and orientation to 2030; train doctors at the grassroots level and in rare specialties by 2025, contributing to the cause of protecting, caring for, and improving people's health. Strive for 80% of administrative and career union branches and 100% of enterprise union branches to fulfill their tasks well; 90% or more union members to achieve the title of good union members; 100% of union officials to achieve good grades.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Health Sector Trade Union for the 7th term, 2023-2025, consisting of 12 members.
