Ham Liem has now become a large commune after merging the entire natural area and population with Ham Chinh commune. The commune has effectively promoted the operation of irrigation teams, the internal irrigation system, and the work of preventing plant diseases, so the annual planting area remains stable... Thanks to that, the quality, production efficiency, and average annual food output have basically met the set targets. Up to now, the total planting area is more than 5,100 hectares/year, the total average food output is more than 24,000 tons/year.

The commune's dragon fruit area is currently 1,140 hectares, of which 348 households cultivate 233.37 hectares meeting VietGAP standards and 4 households cultivate 13.1 hectares meeting GlobalGAP standards. Along with the State budget, the commune has mobilized people to contribute funds to patch 4 km of traffic and make cement concrete.

In addition, infrastructure has been invested in, with construction of a number of projects such as: Muong Xu Bridge and Suoi Cat Bridge, internal roads in Ham Liem 3 residential area, upgrading of the Commune Martyrs Monument, Tan Nong Memorial Stele... Political security is stable, social order and safety are maintained, and the cultural and social fields have many positive changes.
