Earlier, in early August 2025, heavy rains and floods completely swept away the house of Mr. Vi Van Thu's family, leaving them in extremely difficult circumstances. Out of compassion and solidarity, the trade union and the staff of Son La Power Company joined hands to support the construction of a new house, helping the family to quickly stabilize their lives.
The house is solidly built, with an area of 90 m², featuring brick walls, tiled floors, and a corrugated iron roof, ensuring safety. The total cost was over 300 million VND. Of this amount, employees of the company contributed 107.6 million VND; the Vietnam Electricity Group Trade Union contributed 60 million VND, the Northern Power Corporation Trade Union contributed 30 million VND, Son La Power Company 20 contributed 10 million VND, along with contributions from family, relatives, and other supporters.

The "Trade Union Shelter" program not only provides material support but also reflects the beautiful cultural values of compassion and solidarity of Son La Power Company and the power industry towards union members and workers. Through this, it continues to spread the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, contributing to building a more sustainable and developing power industry.
