An Hai Irrigation Exploitation Company improves the quality of raw water supply

An Hai Irrigation Exploitation Company (Hai Phong) not only undertakes the task of supplying raw water to units but also proactively implements many solutions to improve water quality, meeting production and life needs.

Raw water source on Re River always ensures quality for supply to units.

According to information from An Hai Irrigation Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd., in the first 8 months of 2025, the company maintained stable production, business and service activities, supplying more than 50 million ^m3 of raw water to units. The main customers of the unit are the following Joint Stock Companies: Hai Phong Clean Water Business No. 2; Hai Phong Water Supply; Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park and a number of mini water plants in An Phong, An Hai, and An Duong wards.

According to the 2025 plan, the company signed a contract to supply more than 71.3 million ^m3 of water to units.

In order to improve the quality of water supply, the Company focuses on implementing many solutions such as investing in and upgrading the embankment system on canals to prevent polluted water from cultivated fields and residential areas from discharging into the system; effectively exploiting water sources from the main canals in the area leading to the Re River. At the same time, coordinating with localities to strengthen inspection and handling of violations of the ordinance on exploitation and protection of irrigation works, preventing encroachment on canal beds, obstructing the flow, causing environmental pollution; at the same time, proposing that the city allocate funds to embank some sections on the An Kim Hai Canal and the Re River.
