Dak Nong Aluminum Company: 'Discipline and Unity'

Dak Nong Aluminum Company - TKV (DNA) recently held its Conference to summarize production and business activities and the Workers' Conference for 2025.

According to Nguyen Ba Phong, Director of Dak Nong Aluminum Company, 2025 will be a year of many challenges for the company, especially the "bottlenecks" in compensation and land clearance. However, with the spirit of "Discipline and Unity," DNA has been flexible in its management, making its mark with a series of targets exceeding the plan. Specifically, the company's converted alumina production in 2025 is estimated to reach over 700,000 tons, achieving 108% of the plan and equaling 101% of 2024; the production of calcined alumina is estimated to reach over 666,000 tons, achieving 107% of the plan and equaling 103% of 2024.

The estimated consumption of hydrate is 53,000 tons, reaching 137% of the plan and equaling 77% of the 2024 figure; the projected consumption of alumina is 666,400 tons, reaching 106% of the plan and equaling 103% of the 2024 figure. In 2025, projected revenue is 3,655 billion VND; estimated profit is over 65 billion VND; total contribution to the State budget is 858 billion VND. Average salary is 17.2 million VND/person/month, reaching 108% of the annual plan.

In 2025, Dak Nong Aluminum Company was assigned by the Group to manage and implement 5 investment projects to maintain production with a total approved investment of VND 61.4 billion. The management and operation of these projects were carried out in accordance with the plan, ensuring progress and meeting production requirements; DNA's planning and cost management were implemented proactively and systematically, yielding clear results, not only helping the company control production costs but also creating conditions for improving productivity and product quality.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director of the Group, acknowledged and commended the efforts of the leadership and employees of Dak Nong Aluminum Company in successfully achieving the targets for 2025. Emphasizing the key tasks for 2026, General Director Vu Anh Tuan requested that the company prioritize compensation and land clearance. Simultaneously, the company must complete resettlement areas to facilitate mining operations in areas affected by the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway. The company was also required to strengthen and strictly control the quality of raw ore, reduce the consumption of caustic soda, coal, and electricity to lower production costs. In parallel, the company should continue to monitor and evaluate the set of economic and technical norms to serve as a basis for appropriate adjustments in the future.

In addition, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan requested that Dak Nong Aluminum Company promptly resolve obstacles related to exploration work in order to obtain licenses in the GN2-1 and Southeast Quang Son areas. The company needs to closely coordinate with the Nhan Co Alumin Plant Project Management Board to promote the expansion of projects; including the project to expand the capacity of the Nhan Co alumin plant to 1.2 million tons/year.
