Accordingly, Shinhan Finance - SVFC said it had coordinated with representatives of District 1 Police in an industry-wide administrative inspection of business activities of enterprises located in the area. The inspection ended on May 19.
"The inspection results show that SVFC complies with the regulations of the State Bank and the Government in its business operations. SVFC's operations and services continue as normal," said a SVFC representative.
As one of the financial companies licensed by the State Bank to operate in Vietnam for the past 17 years, SVFC said it always ensures that all operating procedures and codes of conduct are strictly established.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong , on the morning of May 19, District 1 Police coordinated with relevant units to inspect Shinhan Finance Company on Ton Duc Thang Street, Ben Nghe Ward.
About 10 cars with blue license plates were parked on the sidewalk in front of Shinhan Finance headquarters. Many police officers were present inside the company headquarters to check.
A police officer on duty at the scene said this was a move by District 1 Police during an inspection of many financial companies headquartered in the area.
Previously, at a discussion on consumer credit organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, Chief Representative of the Vietnam Banking Association in Ho Chi Minh City, informed that 7/10 financial companies reported being inspected by authorities, but there is currently no conclusion.
