Crouch praised Sesko and MU's attack before the season

Former player Peter Crouch believes that Benjamin Sesko will quickly integrate and shine in the Premier League in a MU shirt.

Sesko has just joined MU from RB Leipzig for a fee of 74 million pounds. He will play alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in the "Red Devils" new attack worth 200 million pounds.

Crouch told Mirror Football : “The frontrunner for the Golden Boot will still be Alexander Isak if he resolves his current issues. Erling Haaland and Mo Salah are familiar faces to watch out for.”

“But of all the new faces, Sesko is the one I’m most excited to see. I’m really excited to see him play. Of course, he’s never played in the Premier League, and that’s something to consider. Will he fit in straight away? But regardless, Sesko is the one I’m most excited about.”

MU spent heavily on the attack after scoring only 44 goals in 38 games and finishing 15th last season. Besides Sesko, they added Matheus Cunha - who scored 15 goals for Wolves in the Premier League in 2024/25 and Bryan Mbeumo - the author of 20 goals for Brentford.

Crouch believes this new attacking power will help United break through the rankings. The former Liverpool striker commented: "They are great contracts. Their attack last season was really problematic, ineffective and Bruno Fernandes had to carry the team at times."

"Cunha and Mbeumo are different because they played in the Premier League, were excellent and scored a lot of goals last season. And Sesko is a top player. I think United will become a force. Last season was a disaster, but I believe they will improve significantly and can finish in the top 6," said the former England star.
