Emulation cluster of cooperatives in Binh Lieu district deploys tasks in 2025

On the morning of March 21, the Emulation Cluster of Cooperatives in Binh Lieu district held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Attending were comrades: Ngo Tat Thang, Chairman of the Cooperative Union of Quang Ninh province; Do Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Lieu district.

The emulation cluster of cooperatives in Binh Lieu district was established in 2017, currently has 17 cooperatives in operation. Last year, the cooperatives in the cluster did a good job of connecting, introducing and organizing 04 cooperatives to participate in introducing and promoting products at fairs and exhibitions of the Provincial Business Association. Synthesized and proposed a number of recommendations from members to the People's Council and the District People's Committee to remove difficulties. Up to now, 11/17 cooperatives have revenue and contributed to job creation and economic development in the district, of which some cooperatives have revenue of over 700 million VND/year.

During their operations, cooperatives also face many difficulties because most of them are small in scale, lacking capital to expand production, and applying new technology to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Based on analysis and experience sharing among cooperatives, in 2025, the Emulation Cluster of Cooperatives of Binh Lieu District agreed to continue to consolidate and improve the operational efficiency of cooperatives in the area; focus on developing local agricultural and forestry products, building brands and expanding consumption markets; consult and propose support from local authorities and the Provincial Cooperative Union in training, providing market information, financial support and promoting linkages between cooperatives...
