The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requests that ministries, sectors, and localities urgently provide information to synthesize and implement an inter-sectoral coordination mechanism for sustainable marine economic development.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has issued document 5269/BNNMT-BHĐ requesting ministries, sectors, localities, and affiliated units to urgently review, compile, and provide information on the implementation of tasks under the Inter-sectoral Coordination Mechanism for Sustainable Development of the Marine Economy.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the provision and sharing of information is carried out in accordance with the regulations in the Inter-sectoral Coordination Mechanism on Sustainable Development of the Marine Economy issued with Decision No. 1893/QD-TTg dated September 3, 2025, of the Prime Minister. Ministries, sectors, and localities are responsible for submitting information and documents twice a year; the first before May 31 and the second before December 12 annually.

The report focuses on the progress of assigned tasks, projects, programs, and initiatives; the results achieved up to the reporting date; any difficulties or obstacles encountered during implementation (if any); and proposals for coordinated action to address and resolve these issues.

To date, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has received a report from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the progress of the assigned tasks.

The Ministry requests that agencies submit reports before May 31, 2026, for compilation, to support reporting and effective implementation of the inter-sectoral coordination mechanism, contributing to strengthening connectivity, improving governance efficiency, and promoting sustainable development of the marine economy.
