According to the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Giang Vo Ward, the ward is currently implementing 9 projects with a total land acquisition area of ​​over 4.95 hectares, involving approximately 956 organizations and individuals.

Among these, the construction project of Ring Road 1, specifically the Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, is one of the major projects that has essentially completed land clearance. According to statistics, all 795/795 land plots in the ward have been handed over to facilitate construction.

Many other projects are also progressing positively. The Phan Ke Binh road expansion project has completed land handover with all 5 relevant organizations; the second phase of the Le Duan Cadre Training School renovation and construction project has also completed land clearance after approving 20 compensation and support plans.

Notably, Giang Vo ward is currently carrying out land acquisition for the urban railway project, Line 5, Van Cao - Ngoc Khanh - Lang - Hoa Lac. To date, the ward People's Committee has completed many steps such as issuing the land clearance plan, receiving boundary markers on the ground, publicly posting legal documents, and measuring and counting assets on the land.

On May 26th, the ward's Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council continued its meeting to approve the draft compensation and support plan for public posting as required by regulations.

Officials work tirelessly, without taking a day off, focusing on every project.

Mr. Bui Kim Co, Head of the Urban Infrastructure - Land Clearance Department of the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board of Giang Vo Ward, said that in recent times, the unit has had to focus its efforts on a series of key projects being implemented simultaneously in the area, from transportation and urban beautification to relocating dangerous apartment buildings.

The heavy workload and numerous complex files involving hundreds of households often require officials to work overtime, directly going to the site to review, engage in dialogue, and resolve each arising issue.

According to Mr. Co, for projects such as the Ring Road 1 section from Hoang Cau to Voi Phuc, urban railway line 5, or projects to relocate dangerous apartment buildings, the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of the ward always prioritizes ensuring both progress and maintaining the stability of people's lives.

"We hardly have any days off when many projects are being implemented simultaneously. Our staff have to constantly be on the ground, coordinating with relevant units to resolve each specific case and minimize the occurrence of complaints," Mr. Co shared.

"We believe that land clearance is not just about handing over clean land for the project, but also about ensuring the legitimate rights of the people," he added.

According to Mr. Co, during the implementation of projects, the ward pays special attention to environmental sanitation and urban landscape in the land clearance area. Environmental units are required to increase the collection of construction waste, bulky garbage, and maintain cleanliness on roads under construction or demolition, especially in the De La Thanh area and densely populated streets.

Besides transportation projects, Giang Vo ward is also implementing many social welfare projects such as relocating households from dangerous apartment buildings. To date, 27 out of 27 households in Unit 1, Building A, Ngoc Khanh have completed relocation; 49 out of 49 households in Building G6A, Thanh Cong have handed over the land; and the land clearance project for Area 1 of the Giang Vo Temple historical site has also been completed with 15 out of 15 cases receiving compensation and handing over the land.

According to the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Giang Vo Ward, in the coming time, the Board will continue to coordinate with relevant units to accelerate the progress of projects, while strengthening on-site inspections and promptly handling any issues arising regarding the environment, infrastructure, and people's lives during the land clearance process.
