Video clip contest promoting Binh Thuan tourism

In order to strengthen communication and promotion of Binh Thuan tourism, including the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", Binh Thuan province has just planned to organize the "Video clip contest promoting Binh Thuan tourism" in 2023.

Through the video clips participating in the contest, the communication and promotion of provincial tourism will be enhanced, thereby bringing the image, culture and beautiful landscape of the province closer to domestic and international tourists. At the same time, improving the quality, content, diversifying forms, genres and media products on tourism, making it easier for tourists to search, learn and explore Binh Thuan tourism from many new and interesting perspectives. This is also an opportunity to create a healthy playground for travel enthusiasts, tourists and people to have the opportunity to express their ideas and promote creativity.

The contest is open to Vietnamese citizens (groups of authors or agencies, organizations) nationwide who create video clips to submit to the contest. The video clips must introduce and promote the beautiful scenery, nature, tourist attractions, historical and cultural relics... of Binh Thuan. Each individual, group of authors or agency, organization can participate with a maximum of 3 works (3 participating works cannot overlap in content or location).

Time for receiving entries: From the date of issuance of the plan until 17:00, September 30, 2023 (time calculated by postmark for entries submitted by post or time saved in the system when sending entries by email). Entries submitted after 17:00, September 30, 2023 (based on postmark or time saved in the system when sending entries by email) are not valid. Scoring from October 1, 2023 to October 15, 2023; announcement and award ceremony expected on October 24, 2023.

Each video clip must be 1-5 minutes long and must have been made from 2022 to the present; must not have participated in or won any other contest; images in the video clip must have been filmed in Binh Thuan province. The entry must be a high-quality, high-resolution video clip (HD format or higher) ensuring image and sound quality. The video clip must have a voiceover or subtitle; it is recommended to have a voiceover and subtitle in 2 languages: English and Vietnamese (Vietnamese voiceover must have English subtitles and vice versa).

The works must be authentic, not violate the customs and traditions of Vietnam, and not violate the laws of Vietnam. Video clips must not have symbols overlaid on images and slides (no watermarks), and must not contain images or logos of any brands or businesses for the purpose of promoting the brand. The authors and groups of authors must be responsible for the copyright of the works, and the Organizing Committee is not responsible for any copyright disputes. The Organizing Committee has the right to use the works for communication purposes, promoting Binh Thuan tourism on mass media without notifying the authors or paying any fees.

Regarding the prize structure, there is 1 First prize (20,000,000 VND/prize, logo, Binh Thuan resort voucher); 2 Second prizes (12,000,000 VND/prize, logo, Binh Thuan resort voucher); 3 Third prizes (8,000,000 VND/prize, logo, Binh Thuan resort voucher); 5 Consolation prizes (4,000,000 VND/prize, logo, Binh Thuan resort voucher).

The application includes: Application form (according to the attached form) and video clip. There are 2 ways to submit entries. First, candidates can send their entries by post or submit them directly (by memory card, USB, hard drive, etc.) to the address: Department of Information and Communications of Binh Thuan (No. 192, Pham Hung, Phu Thuy Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, phone: 0252.3835762). For entries sent by post, please clearly state on the envelope: Entry for the "Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Video Clip" Contest in 2023 with the application form attached.
