Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Video Clip Contest

In order to enhance communication and promotion of Binh Thuan tourism, including the 2023 National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", Binh Thuan province has planned to organize the "Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Video Clip Contest" in 2023.

Through the video clips submitted to the competition, the province's tourism communication and promotion efforts are enhanced, bringing the image, culture, and beautiful scenery of the province closer to domestic and international tourists. At the same time, it improves the quality, content, and diversity of forms and types of tourism-related media products, making it easier for tourists to find, learn about, and explore Binh Thuan tourism from many new and interesting perspectives. This also creates a healthy platform for tourism enthusiasts, tourists, and locals to express their ideas and unleash their creativity.

The competition is open to Vietnamese citizens (or groups of authors, agencies, or organizations) nationwide who create and submit video clips. The submitted video clips should showcase and promote the beautiful scenery, nature, tourist destinations, historical sites, and culture of Binh Thuan province . Each individual, group of authors, or agency/organization may submit a maximum of 3 entries (the 3 entries must not have duplicate content or locations).

Submission deadline: From the date of plan issuance until 5:00 PM on September 30, 2023 (the time is determined by the postmark for entries submitted via mail or the system retention time for entries sent via email). Entries submitted after 5:00 PM on September 30, 2023 (based on the postmark or system retention time for entries sent via email) will be considered invalid. Judging will take place from October 1, 2023 to October 15, 2023; the announcement and awards ceremony are tentatively scheduled for October 24, 2023.

Each video clip must be between 1 and 5 minutes long and must have been created between 2022 and the present; it must not have been submitted to or won any other competitions; the images in the video clip must have been filmed in Binh Thuan province. Submitted entries must be high-quality, high-resolution video clips (HD format or higher) ensuring good image and sound quality. The video clip must have narration or subtitles; narration and subtitles in both English and Vietnamese are encouraged (Vietnamese narration with English subtitles and vice versa).

The submitted work must be authentic, not violate Vietnamese customs and traditions, and not violate Vietnamese law. Video clips must not have any watermarks or symbols overlaid on images or slides, and must not contain images or logos of any brands or businesses for the purpose of brand promotion. The author(s) are responsible for the copyright of their submitted work; the Organizing Committee is not responsible for any copyright disputes. The Organizing Committee has the right to use the submitted works for the purpose of promoting tourism in Binh Thuan on mass media without notifying the author or paying any fees.

Regarding the prize structure, it includes 1 First Prize (20,000,000 VND/prize, trophy, and resort voucher in Binh Thuan); 2 Second Prizes (12,000,000 VND/prize, trophy, and resort voucher in Binh Thuan); 3 Third Prizes (8,000,000 VND/prize, trophy, and resort voucher in Binh Thuan); and 5 Consolation Prizes (4,000,000 VND/prize, trophy, and resort voucher in Binh Thuan).

The competition entry includes: Application form (attached) and the competition video clip. There are two ways to submit entries. The first way is to send entries by mail or submit them directly (via memory card, USB, hard drive, etc.) to the following address: Binh Thuan Department of Information and Communications (192 Pham Hung Street, Phu Thuy Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province, Tel: 0252.3835762). For entries sent by mail, please clearly state on the envelope: Entry for the "Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Video Clip Competition 2023" along with the application form. The second way is to send the entry to the email address: binhthuanhoituxanh@gmail.com, along with a photo or scanned copy of the application form and the video clip (email subject: Registration for the "Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Video Clip Competition 2023").
