At 6:00 p.m. on May 22 (Vietnam time), the world gold price suddenly dropped sharply, breaking through the 3,300 USD/ounce mark to only 3,286 USD/ounce, down 55 USD per ounce compared to the morning.

Gold prices reversed downward after rising sharply in the past two days, facing strong profit-taking pressure from investors.

Precious metals on the international market have fluctuated strongly in recent days, when they increased by more than 100 USD/ounce and then reversed and fell sharply immediately after.

Due to the influence of world gold prices, the price of SJC gold bars also "turned around" and decreased again. At the end of today, businesses such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI simultaneously adjusted the new gold price list, buying SJC gold bars at 118.5 million VND/tael, selling at 120.5 million VND/tael, down 800,000 VND per tael compared to this morning.

Meanwhile, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold continued to stabilize around 112.5 million VND/tael for buying and 115.5 million VND/tael for selling.

In the past 2 days, the price of SJC gold bars still increased by about 1.2 million VND/tael while the price of gold rings increased by about 1 million VND/tael.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 103.8 million VND/tael, about 11 million VND/tael lower than gold rings and about 16 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold bars.
