"In this book, the earliest article I wrote was in 1955 when I was first assigned to work at Nhan Dan Newspaper in Hanoi, and the most recent article was in July 2024, published in Communist Magazine. At the age of 96, I have spent nearly 80 years writing many articles, although this is not exactly my official job, the journalism career I left behind is what I am most proud of and satisfied with...".
