Summary and award ceremony of the Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025

The Organizing Committee received over 21,000 entries from 175 units across the province.

Since 2019, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest. Quang Ninh Province has organized the preliminary round of the contest well every year. Since March 2025, the Provincial Library has closely coordinated with the Departments of Education and Training, the Center for Communication - Culture of localities, promoted the promotion, propaganda, and dissemination of the contest to all educational units across the province; received strong response from a large number of students at all levels and continuing education students; demonstrating the widespread spread of the reading promotion movement and love of books among the young generation.

In particular, 2025 is also the year marking a new development in the contest content when the Organizing Committee officially added the contest "Learning about the characteristics of the province and the human value system of Quang Ninh ". This is an important highlight, not only helping students understand more deeply about the cultural traditions, history and people of Quang Ninh, but also arousing in them pride, sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute to their homeland.

First prize in the contest "Learning about the characteristics of the province and the human value system of Quang Ninh" was awarded to Nguyen Bao Anh, a student of class 10A1, Cam Pha High School, Cam Pha City.

Immediately after launching, the Organizing Committee received over 21,000 entries from 175 units across the province. Many entries were of good quality, carefully invested in both form and content, demonstrating the excellence in ideas, creativity, and great imagination of the contestants in sharing touching stories, impressive inspirational characters, and stories that continued with profound humanistic messages.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee of the Contest awarded 5 collective prizes to units with the largest number of contestants; 46 individual prizes to outstanding contestants. The title of Quang Ninh Province Reading Culture Ambassador in 2025 was awarded to Phan Thi Thanh Tra, a student of class 11A9; First prize in the contest "Learning about the characteristics of the province and the system of human values of Quang Ninh" was awarded to Nguyen Bao Anh, a student of class 10A1; both from Cam Pha High School, Cam Pha City.

Phan Thi Thanh Tra, a student of class 11A9, Cam Pha High School, Cam Pha City, won the title of Reading Culture Ambassador of Quang Ninh province in 2025.

The 6th time the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest has been held, it continues to affirm its role as a cultural and educational activity rich in humanistic values, having a positive effect in developing thinking, nurturing aesthetic emotions, arousing the spirit of self-study, self-reading and cultivating a love of books in the young generation; thereby contributing to building a system of cultural values and standards for Vietnamese people.
