According to information, when the vehicle reached the middle of Dong Nai bridge, the border between Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces, the vehicle braked suddenly, causing 2 out of 3 steel rolls on the trailer to break their chains. One roll fell onto the bridge, and the other got stuck on the trailer.
Although there were no casualties, the trailer cabin was damaged. The steel coil fell onto the bridge, occupying part of the bridge surface, causing traffic congestion of more than 5km from Suoi Tien tourist area (HCMC) to Dong Nai bridge.

The Ministry of Transport is drafting a Circular regulating the loading of goods on vehicles when participating in traffic. Accordingly, containers must be suitable for the type and characteristics of goods to be loaded; padding and lining must ensure that the goods inside do not shift during transportation.
