Twenty-two suspects have been arrested.

Thus, from the night of June 11th to the morning of June 12th, police arrested six more suspects involved in the attacks on two commune People's Committee offices in Dak Lak .

"The forces worked through the night to apprehend the group of suspects who attacked two commune People's Committee offices in Dak Lak and are continuing to pursue the remaining individuals," Lieutenant General To An Xo said.

The incident occurred in the early morning of June 11th in Cu Kuin district, where an unidentified group attacked the police stations of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes with guns, killing and injuring several commune officials, police officers, and local residents.

The Ministry of Public Security has directed the Dak Lak Provincial Police and other professional units to deploy forces to apprehend the group of people.

At the same time, the Ministry of Public Security also issued a notice urging people in Cu Kuin district and neighboring areas to remain calm, not panic, and to comply with the instructions of local authorities and functional forces.

If anyone has information relating to the above group of people, please provide it immediately to the nearest police station.

By noon the same day, authorities had arrested six suspects involved in the attack on the commune police station in Cu Kuin district.

According to the leaders of the Cư Kuin District Party Committee in Đắk Lắk, among the six suspects arrested, one is from Ayun Pa town, Gia Lai province; three are from Krông Búk district; and two are from Cư Mgar district (Đắk Lắk).

After a day of intense pursuit, by late yesterday evening (June 11), authorities had arrested 10 more suspects, bringing the total number of arrests to 16 in connection with the attack on two commune police stations in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.

Police also seized numerous weapons, including knives and guns, that the group used to commit the crime. Authorities also rescued two civilians who were taken hostage, while a third citizen freed himself.

According to the Ministry of Public Security, by the evening of June 11th, no civilians were being held hostage by the group of suspects.

On June 11th, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote four police officers who died in the attack on two commune police stations in Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, Captain Hoang Trung, 42 years old, an officer of the Ea Ktur Commune Police, Cu Kuin District, Dak Lak Province, was posthumously promoted to Major. Officer Nguyen Dang Nhan of the Ea Ktur Commune Police was also posthumously promoted from Senior Lieutenant to Captain. Both officers are originally from Nghe An Province.

The police have posthumously promoted Tran Quoc Thang, 34, a police officer in Ea Tieu commune, from captain to major; and Ha Tuan Anh, a police officer in Ea Tieu commune, from lieutenant to captain.
