On forums and fanpages about the competency assessment exam, candidates are still constantly wondering "The website is down, how can I know my exam score?". "Ho Chi Minh City National University is requested to send the scores via email to candidates. I cannot check the scores on the website". "The website is so bad that I cannot access it, but they did not bother to announce it earlier when the score distribution was released 3 days ago"...
Faced with difficulties in looking up exam scores, some candidates said that errors occurred because too many people accessed the system at the same time.
Meanwhile, many candidates said they had seen the results of the second round of competency assessment exams.
Many candidates call on those who have checked their scores to take a screenshot and exit the system to avoid system errors.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University - said that when Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the second round of exam scores, many people immediately logged into the system to look them up.
Not only candidates but also many parents look up scores, so many people have difficulty logging into the system.
"At 10am this morning, there were still nearly 90,000 candidates accessing the site at the same time, causing a system error. Too many people logging into the system to check their exam results caused the system to become unstable. Candidates and parents need to stay calm, everyone will definitely be able to see their scores normally today," Mr. Chinh affirmed.
Top candidates by aptitude test scores
Ho Chi Minh City National University has announced the 2025 capacity assessment exam score distribution table based on the results of about 152,800 candidates.
According to Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, this is one of the data for schools to use exam results to build a formula to convert admission scores between methods according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training .
In addition, from the results distribution table, candidates know whether they are in a high or low group compared to the overall group, thereby considering their university preferences.
The average score of candidates in the second round of the competency assessment exam was 718.7 points. The candidate with the highest score in this round of the exam was 1,122 points and the candidate with the lowest score was 81 points.

Issuing certificates of electrical competency assessment test results to candidates
In 2025, VNU-HCM will not send paper copies of the Ho Chi Minh City National University Competency Assessment Test results certificates to candidates as in previous years.
Instead, candidates will be granted electronic certificates to create more favorable conditions for candidates and admission units, while improving management efficiency and keeping up with the digital transformation trend.
Candidates can proactively access the exam portal at: http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download electronic certificates.
Admissions units can verify certificates by sending a list of candidates needing confirmation to the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University for support in verifying results.
In addition, paper certificates are issued directly at the center's office if necessary upon request of the candidate.
