Launching a network of Training Centers of Excellence in Advanced, Smart Transport Technology and Infrastructure

Delegates pressed the button to inaugurate the network of Training Centers of Excellence and Talent in the field of Advanced and Smart Transport Technology and Infrastructure.

On October 10, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a launching ceremony for the network of excellent and talented training centers in the field of Transport Technology and advanced, smart infrastructure. Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha attended and delivered a speech.

The Network of Training Centers of Excellence and Talent in the field of Transport Technology and Advanced, Smart Infrastructure chaired by the University of Transport Technology is one of 13 networks of Training Centers of Excellence and Talent nationwide approved by the Prime Minister . This is a key network in the field of transport technology and smart infrastructure - an important spearhead in the process of modernizing infrastructure and developing smart cities in Vietnam.

The Network of Training Centers of Excellence and Talent in the field of Advanced and Smart Transport Technology and Infrastructure brings together 28 universities, research institutes and large enterprises, focusing on developing 7 key areas: Artificial Intelligence (AI), BIM, Digital Twin, smart logistics, high-speed rail, sustainable materials and renewable energy.

As a coordinating hub, the University of Transport Technology will connect member units to form a training-research-technology transfer ecosystem, contributing to providing high-quality human resources to serve the country's key economic sectors.

Associate Professor - Doctor Nguyen Hoang Long, Principal of University of Transport Technology, spoke at the network launch ceremony.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, highly appreciating the Ministry of Education and Training 's assignment of the University of Transport Technology to assume the role of network coordinator, Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha emphasized that this is a strategic task, demonstrating the prestige, capacity and influence of the University in the Vietnamese higher education system; at the same time contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution 57 on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation and national digital transformation.

At the launching ceremony, Associate Professor - Doctor Nguyen Hoang Long, Rector of the University of Transport Technology, expected that with its role as a focal point of an excellent training network, a solid scientific and technological foundation and a clear strategic orientation, the University of Transport Technology will become a leading research, training and innovation center in the field of transport technology and smart infrastructure, actively contributing to the digital transformation process and national sustainable development.
