This year, the event took place on November 30 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, France. Le Bal has always attracted international media attention and has been held annually since 1958.
Le Bal brings together 20 girls aged 16 to 22, all of whom come from "big" backgrounds. Also appearing at the event are the girls' families. Handsome young men will be present to accompany the girls throughout the evening.

The most prominent young lady at this year's event was Apple Martin, the daughter of British singer Chris Martin and American actress Gwyneth Paltrow. British princess Apollonie Halard is the daughter of fashion journalist Miranda Brooks and architect Bastien Halardis. Apollonie is studying fashion design at Central Saint Martins University (UK).

Sofia Yadigaroglu, daughter of Spanish artist Inma Barrero, is currently a student at Amherst College (USA), majoring in art history and English.

There were three Asian ladies at Le Bal this year, including Ella Yam, daughter of Hong Kong (Chinese) actor Simon Yam. Ella is studying at the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK).
Angel Zhang, daughter of famous Chinese director Zhang Yimou, was also present at this year's event. Angel is about to study filmmaking in the US.
Rysa Panday, a beauty from India, is the younger sister of actress Ananya Panday. Ananya also attended the Le Bal coming-of-age party. The fact that Rysa also attended this event like her sister made many people believe that she will soon conquer the Bollywood entertainment industry.
Why are adult proms popular with the rich?
